This is another unique part of Fethiye where you will never regret being in. Calis is famous for its sea turtles ‘ ‘ caretta carettas’’ and irresistable sunsets appearing astonishingly over the bay. It is situated in southwestern Turkey also being the closest beach to Fethiye town centre. One can drive from Dalaman in 40 minutes to this beach resort and only a 5-10 minute drive will bring you to Calis. Although night life here is fairly low-key, you will find a good selection of cocktail bars, a couple of discos, restaurants and bars along the 4 km long stretch of beach. As Calis can said to be a promenade both for locals and foreigners, there is a considerable range of hotels, boarding houses and campsides. You will no doubtly enjoy eveything this beach resort has to offer including every kind of water sports like water ski-ing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, parasailing and even horse-riding !
